Harmony

Harmony is the new conservation community so fabulous that it just took 1st Place at the 2004 Parade of Homes. The award, given to the best community with 5,000 or more homesites, was presented by The Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando, and is further confirmation that our dream of creating a unique hometown has come to pass. Featuring superb homes set amid 11,000 acres of pristine and protected wilderness, with two 500-acre lakes, Harmony had already won two prestigious awards, and remarkably, they came prior to the community's official Grand Opening.

We were the proud recipients of the 18th Residential Environmental Award from the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR). The award - popularly known as the ENVY - recognizes the developer who makes the most significant contributions toward building within Florida's sensitive environment. The judges looked at Harmony's preservation of its native flora and fauna, blending of the community with its natural setting, development of trails, parks and playgrounds, family recreation and safety, and much more.

Harmony also garnered a Merit Award from the 2003 Parade of Homes, an award received even before model homes or most of the community infrastructure was finished. But, when you see Harmony, you'll know why it won. It's a place where charming new homes and neighborhoods blend seamlessly with the best of old Florida. Former U.S. Open Champion Johnny Miller has designed a course that wraps around the existing wetlands, preserving Harmony's original treasure – 11,000 acres of broad meadows, towering stands of southern pines and two shimmering 500-acre natural lakes. No homes will be built fronting the golf course.
